Atkins; his stepson Michael James Sassin Skutnik; his niece Regina; his nephew James Sanders; his grandson Dominick Doxtater; his great grandchild Sharon E. LaSure Atkins; and his friends, Maggie Darline Atkins and Johnson.

He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Atkins; his children, Christina Atkins Swecker (Steven "Waldo"), Kyla Atkins George, Kenneth L. Atkins (Lisa), Kelly D. Atkins Walsh (Elijah), Kandy A. Atkins Brooks (Richard "Trevor") and Taylor Duane; his stepchildren, Michael Adams, Marietta Ante and Daniel Overby; his caregiver Jamie Overby; and his friends, Rebecca, Phillips and Janet Stefanko. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces n nephews, great nieces n nephews.
