We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 70, Kenneth Darrell Rich (Kingsport, Tennessee), born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth Darrell Rich to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rich and Georgia Berniece Rich; and his grandson Griffin Rich. He is survived by: his wife Jill Rich; his sons, Garrett Rich (Candace) and Alex Rich (Britteny); his grandchildren, Emory, Emma Ellis, JT, Annie Rich and Hayes Rich; his siblings, Lisa Bockholt and Jim Taylor (Gayle); his brother-in-law Joe Riggs (Becky); and his nephews, Darren Riggs (McKayla) and Ben Riggs (Summer). He is also survived by the love of his life and his greatest companion.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Broad Street United Methodist Church (100 E Church Cir, Kingsport, TN 37660). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Broad Street United Methodist Church, 100 E. Church Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660 and Shades of Grace United Methodist Church, 313 E. Sullivan St., Kingsport, TN 37660.
