She was predeceased by: her husband George H. Tate; and her parents, Ernest Amey and Frances Amey. She is survived by: her children, George Tate and Tina Luster; her sister Janice Bertrand (Dan); her sister-in-law Linda Byers; and her grandchildren, George Kevin, Matthew Ryan, Brett Austin, Preston Harrison, Ciera Brooke, Joshua Aaron and Justin Adam. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Lawn Cemetery (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
