With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie Merrill of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marie left this world on December 10, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Earl Jenkins, Don Linkous and Dr. H. R. Merrill; and her son Reece Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Wanda McClellan, Chuck, Donna Linkous and Tina Linkous; her stepson Dr. David Merrill (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Jeff Jenkins, Chris Jenkins (Jeanna), Kellie Dawson (Robert), Dr. Chad McClellan (Jennifer) and Joe McClellan (Sharon). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church Hill Memory Gardens (208 Lane St, Church Hill, TN 37642).
