She was predeceased by: her husband Densil Ray Davis; her son Sammy Ray; her parents, Otto Charlton and Maxine Charlton; her sisters, Shirley Rowland, Freddie Gordon, Marie Foulk and Georgia Pasch; and her granddaughter Jessica Hill.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon McClain (Robert), Sandra Teague, Janet Wilde (Billy) and April Kilby. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.
