He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whipple and Myrtle Whipple; and his brothers, Joseph Whipple and Michael Whipple. He is survived by: his children, Mark Whipple II, Brittany White (Cyle) and Alex Ellis (Dustin); his grandchildren, Maddilynn Ellis, Clark and Samuel White; his siblings, Fred Egly (Sandra) and Carol Wyatt (Ronnie); and his friends, Larry "Cotton" Martin (Sandy) and Barbara Mullins. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to offset funeral expenses can be made in Mark's name to Trinity Memorial Centers.
