She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Morriset and Mary Louise Eskridge Taylor of Morristown; her husband Ed McDaniel; her siblings, Hugh M. Taylor, Jr. and Jan McCartt; and her son Bill McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughter Betsy McDaniel Boyer (Andy) of Winthrop, WA; her grandson Henry Boyer of Oak Harbor, WA; her sister Betty Thompson of Morehead, KY; and her sibling's children, Peg Hess (Howard) of Knoxville, Kathy Erickson (Jon) of Atlanta, Linda Baber (Mark) of Fort Myers, FL, Jana Jensen (Tyler) of Suwanee, GA, Katherine Schilling (Robbie), Stephanie Mayo (Sam) of Columbia, SC, Denise Koester of Urbanville, IA, Jim McCartt of Knoxville, David Thompson of Morehead, KY and Michael McDaniel (Kirby) of Parkville, MO.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Broad Street United Methodist Church (100 E Church Cir, Kingsport, TN 37660).
