She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lawson and Ruby Helton Lawson; her husband Gerald Vanzant; and her brothers, Paul Lawson and Tommy Lawson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon (Rick Soldin), Brenda (Richard Foxx), Janet Rodriguez (Greg Tunnell) and Denise Vanzant; and her pet Bernie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
