It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Young (Kingsport, Tennessee) is shared. Michael, born on April 6, 1977, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Young and Lois A. Young; and his granddaughter Amelia Young. He is survived by: his wife Twannia Young; his children, Michael E. Young (Tiffany), Makala C. Godsey (Austin) and Autumn Grace Green; his grandchildren, David W. Young, Owen E. Young, Oakley T. Young and Ella Brooke Leedy; and his siblings, Lisa Lovin and Kenny Young. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gravley Baptist Church (647 Gravely Rd, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
