He was predeceased by: his father William Ashley Stein; his brother Stephen Marshall Stein; and his stepfather Dr. Paul Brookshire. He is survived by: his mother Lois Stein Brookshire; and his siblings, Will Stein, Sandy Garner, Patrice Carlin, Bruce Stein and Jennifer Dowell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
