He was predeceased by: his father George Hubert; his wife Gail Cavin; and his son Randall Cavin. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Cox (Paul), David "Mater" Cavin (Frankie) and Tami Southerland (Lyndell); his grandchildren, Holden Cavin, Ceaira Harrison (Shane), Cal Southerland and Jon Cox; his great grandchild Skyy Byington; his grandson Trae Crawford; and his close friends, Dennis Ryans, Gary Short and Charlie Short. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
