Ray R. Pleasant Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray R. Pleasant of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pleasant and Onnie Arnold Pleasant; and his siblings, Eva Pleasant and Weldon Pleasant. He is survived by: his daughters, Gay Gillis (Jerry) and Teresa Jill Lane Stacy (Jack); his grandchildren, Ashley Gillis Winstead (Josh), Justin Gillis, Emily Lane and Will Lane (Kasey); his great grandchildren, Ella Winstead, Cooper Lane and Tucker Lane; his sister Nell Reaves; and the mother of his children Frances Skidmore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
