He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Hamrick and Patricia Hamrick; his close friend Renee Hickman; his adoptive son Jonathan Howard Whitney; his sister Sharon Darcy; his wife Renee Hamrick; his children, Ruth Anne Hamrick, Savana Ambros (Michael) and Raymond Hamrick, II; his grandchildren, Tyler, Oliver, Shawn, Lilah, Steven, Faith and Thomas; his pet Micah; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Akins (Terry) and Bill Hickman (Vicki).

The family requests that no flowers be sent.
