He is survived by: his wife Brenda Pratt Pierson; his daughters, Patricia Crawford (Johnny), Karen Linkous (Waymond) and Melissa Brandon (Bobby); his grandchildren, Alex Linkous (Randi), Olivia Linkous (Jacob), Ryne Brandon and Emily Brandon; and his siblings, Mary Ann Gibson, Margaret Tipton and David Pierson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
