It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Yates of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Yates and Janie Duckworth Yates; and his sister Deborah Buckles. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Yates; his daughters, Dawn Russell (Greg), Heather Glover (Andy) and Ashley Harris (John); his niece Kayla Scism (Ethan); his grandchildren, Gavin Spears, Kendall Glover, Kellen Glover, Maeven Harris, Eden Harris, Spencer Russell and Ellie Russell; his great grandchild Brylee Spears; and his siblings, Karen Yates, Pam Jayne and Kenny Jayne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
