He was predeceased by: his wife Diania Barnett; his parents, Euel Barnett and Mary Barnett; and his brothers, Ronnie Barnett, William Stanley "Red" Barnett (Sharon) and Edward "Khrushchev" Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Barnett and Jill Barnett; his grandsons, Tyler Young and Jay Barnett; and his nephew Danny Barnett (family: Damian, Dalton, Destiny, Dani).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Chapel (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
