He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Eugene and Leah Ray Bowen (Allen); his brother Rex Bowen; and his pet Chloe. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ruth Greene Bowen; his sons, Stephen Michael Bowen (Christy) of Kingsport, Dr. Chris Bowen (Rick) of Johnson City and Brad Bowen of Church Hill; and his grandchildren, Lukas Baines, Abigail Bowen of Kingsport and Bailey Bowen of Church Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
