He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Manis, Sr. and Nancy Jane Bragg Manis; his wife Evelyn Mae Manis; and his siblings, James E. Manis, Jr., Jerry Lee Manis and Madeline Sue Goodwin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Leta Vargeson (Jeff) and Linda Sue Kern. He is also survived by five uncles, two aunts, and a number of nephews, cousins, and friends.
