With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald J. Russell (Kingsport, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Russell and Eva L. Russell; and his sisters, Rachel Dingus (Darius) and Shirley Skeen (Glen). He is survived by: his children, Greg Russell (Amy) of Kingsport, TN and Cindy Wilson of Kingsport, TN; the mother of his children Carolyn Hammonds Wagner of Gray, TN; his grandchildren, Hailey Thomas (Brody) of Church Hill, TN, Emily Harper (Aaron) of Kingsport, TN and Ryan Russell (Anna) of Kennesaw, GA; his sister Brenda Lord of Stephens City, VA; and his nephew Jesus. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
