He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Rex Winstead and Stella Moore Winstead; and his siblings, Raymond, Bill, Wayne, Loretta, Mildred and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie Rhoten Winstead; his sons, Christopher Winstead (Deborah) and Michael Winstead; and his grandsons, Austin, Ayden, Elijah and Turner.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
