It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Gail Woods of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sandra Gail shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sandra Gail farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin "Red" Coffey and Shirley Frye Coffey. She is survived by: her husband Dennis C. Woods; her sons, Brandon Woods (Rebekah) of Kingsport and Matthew Woods of Senoia, GA; her grandchildren, Carson Woods and Callie Woods; and her brother Mike Coffey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
