It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scottie Deel of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Meredith Deel. He is survived by: his wife Jean Deel; his children, Jeff Deel (Kim) of Kingsport, Libby Deel of Kingsport and Kelly Rimer (Brandon) of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Amber Whitaker (Austin), Kayla Deel, John Michael Hale, Abigail Woodward, Dalton Morgan, Caitlin Rimer, Will Rimer and Ben Rimer; and his great grandchildren, Briley and Everleigh Whitaker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
