It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan D. Spaugh of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Medlin and Martha Medlin; her son Richard Brad Spaugh; and her brothers, Martin and James Medlin.
She is survived by: her husband Art Spaugh; her children, Kevin Spaugh (Brandy) and Jennifer Reneau (Chris); her grandchildren, Matthew Spaugh, Katie Reneau, Bree Reneau, Noah Spaugh and Jonah Spaugh; her great grandchild Phoebe Spaugh; and her siblings, Shirley Mendenhall (David) and Kathy Wells (Ronnie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Indian Springs Baptist Church (214 Hill Rd, Kingsport, TN 37664). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
