With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Church Pless of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Linsey and Delfina Trivette Church; and her brothers, Amon, Bill, Jack and John Church.
She is survived by: her children, Judy McCulley (Jim) and James Lee Pless; her grandson James Paul Sturgill; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Reese Sturgill; her stepgranddaughter Laura Houser (Andrew); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Josiah and Adalyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
