He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray Byrd, Sr. and Della Beatrice Payne Byrd; and his sister Brenda Gail Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Diane Byrd; his daughters, Marcy Roney (Darrell), Katrina Waye (Danny) and Danita Newton (Chris Hatcher); his stepson Jae Gryder (Monica); his grandchildren, Jeron, Lucas and Zoe; and his siblings, Paul Victor Byrd and Linda Byrd Salyer (Marvin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
