It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Duke of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Duke and Bonnie Mable Flynn Duke; his wife Wanda Holden; and his siblings, Cora Lee Cody, Paulene Kimberlin, Phyllis Miller, Brenda Myers, Mary Stallard and Doug Duke.
He is survived by: his grandson Andy Griffith; his daughters, Kristie Johnson (Anthony) and Brandy Duke; his grandchildren, Nikkie Johnson, Sgt. Steven Johnson, Bentley Olterman and Carly Olterman; his siblings, Michael "Cotton" Duke and Annette Barrett (Wayne); his niece Laura "Lou Lou" Williams; and his close friend Charlie.
