William Claud Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 5, 2026, at the age of 86, William Claud Johnson of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Erie Johnson; his wife Dana Ambursey Johnson; his son Billy Johnson (William C. Johnson III) of Cambria, CA; and his siblings, Everette Johnson, Edna Torbest and Corene Kiser.

He is survived by: his brother Harold Johnson (Alleta) of Elkin, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
