He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kirk and Shirley Kirk; his brother Loyd; and his grandsons, Alex West and Caleb Grisenti.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, David Kirk (Kristen) of Woodbridge, VA, Sandy West (Charlie) of Cleveland, TN and Karen Grisenti (Jereme) of Blountville, TN; his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Sarah Kirk, Diana West Bolen (Jay), Hannah Grisenti Benson (Jeremy), Alissa, Megan, Eliana, Talia, Kari and Lucy Grisenti; and his brothers, Dayton and Jerry. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
