It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Waycaster of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Waycaster and Ruby Howell Waycaster; and his sister Gail Long. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Benfield Waycaster; his sons, William Waycaster Jr. (Billy) and Stephen H. Waycaster; his daughters-in-law, Kathy and Beth; his grandchildren, Whitney Hyde, Jennifer Funk, Ashley Waycaster and Jackson Waycaster; and his great grandchildren, Katherine, Ben, Elizabeth, Anne, Emily and Logan.
