She was predeceased by: her husband John Townsend; her parents, David Bowery and Virginia Burke; and her sisters, Nadine Dufey (Richard) and Sherri Burke-Goolsby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Cassell (Roger) and Tonya Holmes (Jeff); her grandchildren, Katheryn Locke (Alen), Justin Harvey (Audrie), Rebekah Price (Chase), Michael Wilson (Shayna) and Elizabeth Hall; and her stepgrandchildren, Grace Cassell and Matthew Cassell. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
