With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Thompson of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Thompson and Fannie Mae Thompson; her daughter Dianne Thompson; her siblings, Willie Mae Thompson, Alberta Carter, Lizzie Mae Thompson, Leroy, Henry, Earnest, Andrew, John and Jimmy Thompson; and her great grandchild Aubrey Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Thompson (Brenda), Sammy Walker (Sandra), Howard Walker (Judy) and Robert Walker; and her friends, Maxline Hunt, Nancy Moore, Rita Scrugg and Kathy Leckrone. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
