She was predeceased by: her parents, Claggett Talley and Helen Mae Castell Talley; her husband James Lloyd Sloan, Jr.; and her siblings, Margurite Bullion, Wanda Epley, Dewayne Talley, Charles Talley, Don Talley, Brenda Helentjaris and Peggy Potts.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Sloan, Teresa Liles (Hillard) and Jimmie Kaye Street (Tim); her grandchildren, Lacey Steverson, Adam Liles, Matt Street, Hillary Tompkins (Chris), Cody Street (Grace) and Colton Greer (Ali); her great grandchildren, Hunter Tompkins, Destiny Tompkins, Ethan Tompkins, Marlie Liles, Samantha Queen, Antony Felipe, Colby Street, Dylan Street, Mayumi Street and Rowan Greer; and her siblings, Fred Talley (Karen) and Carmie Floyd (Jerry).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Harpeth Baptist Church (1011 Butterworth Rd, Kingston Springs, TN 37082). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
