The passing of Norma Rust Mitchell of Kingston Springs, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 25, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lamastus and Ola Mai Caruthers Lamastus; her husband Jeffrey Mitchell; and her brother Edward Pike. She is survived by: her children, Justin Rust (Bree) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Catie Childers (Dustin) of Charlotte, TN; her sisters, Debbie Bellar (Ricky) and Peggy Pike; her aunt Annie Mai Sullivan; and her grandchildren, Billy "Buddy" Ivey III and Rider Childers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
For those who desire, memorials may be made to either the Dickson or Cheatham County Humane Society.
