She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Sands; her daughter Bliss Boyd Gonzales; her parents, E. T. Meredith and Mary Gladys Britt Meredith; her siblings, Tom Meredith and Brenda Meredith Roberts; and her niece Meredith Roberts.
She is survived by: her son Billy Joe Boyd, Jr. (Eugenia Bunch Boyd); her siblings, Betty Brooks of Ft. Myers, FL and Ted Meredith of Indian Trail, NC; her grandchildren, Daniel Boyd (Amanda) of Kingston, Gracie Boyd of Kingston and Levi Boyd of Kingston; her great grandchildren, Camren Sitzler (Olivia) of Kingston, Emma Boyd of Kingston and Brayden Boyd of Kingston; her great great grandchild Harper Sitzler of Kingston; her niece Amy Roberts Shetterly (Jeff) of Ashville, NC; her nephews, Jay Brooks (Grace) of Estero, FL, Drew Meredith of Knoxville, TN and Seth Meredith of Carrollton, TX; and her brother-in-law Dr. William Joseph Roberts of Oak Ridge, TN..
