She was predeceased by: her husband H. M. Giles; her daughters, Phyllis Shelton and Susan Brown; her brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Leroy, Curtis, Jim and Howard Poland; her grandchildren, Kurt Giles and Melissa Brown; her parents, James Monroe and Mary Marie Poland; and her sisters, Virginia Johnson and Polly Huff.
She is survived by: her son Morgan; her daughter-in-law Janie Giles of Kingston; her grandchildren, Britt Westmoreland, David, Michelle Brown and Justin Giles; her great grandchildren, Kylie Giles and Hadley Giles; and her son-in-law Chuck Shelton of Kingston Several.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fraker Funeral Home (1445 Kingston Hwy, Kingston, TN 37763). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Kingston Memorial Gardens (184 Oak Dr, Kingston, TN 37763).
