James E. Oran Obituary
In loving memory of James E. Oran of Kingston, Tennessee, who departed this world on March 2, 2026 at the age of 63. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Brackett Oran; and his father-in-law Phillip Blaine LaRue. He is survived by: his daughter Harli-Blaine "Weed" (Mitchell Kyker); his wife Tonya LaRue-Oran; his daughter Rayli James (Caleb Williams); his grandchildren, Christopher Stone Kyker "Buzz" and Karver James Kyker "Tooty"; his father Charles Ray Oran Sr.; his siblings, Sherry Oran, Jennifer Oran Fugate, Charles Ray Oran Jr. "Chuck" (Michelle) and Sam Oran (Kristy); his parents-in-law, Jacqueline LaRue and Mike Beaty; his sisters, Tina (Jason Carne) and Toni (James Garrett); and his siblings' children, Abbie, Stefanie, Erica, Shelbie, Devyn, Lucas, Daniel, Marshall, Sammie Ray, Darin, James Michael, Phillip Andrew and Gary Lee. He is also survived by many other extended family members and special friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Southwest Point Baptist Church (2271 Decatur Hwy, Kingston, TN 37763). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Clarkrange Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (6250 S York Hwy, Clarkrange, TN 38553).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Southwest Point Baptist Church Building Fund.
