It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Halmos of Kingston, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Hajzer and Veronica Monodovics; his brothers, Bela Hajzer and Reszo Hajzer; his sister-in-law Ica Hajzer; and his sister Ilona Szlovak.

He is survived by : his significant other Isabella Barna of Kingston, TN; and his children, John F. Halmos of Rocky River, Ohio, Hilda Piller of Pinellas Park, FL and Lori Cejka (Scott) of Cincinnati. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
