She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Lathean Roberts and Emma Louise Wilson Roberts; and her parents-in-law, Beedy and Elizabeth Patterson. She is survived by: her husband Linville Patterson (LJ); her children, Rebecca Hoard (Steven) of Hobe Sound, FL, Ronda Patterson of Kingston, TN, Aaron Patterson of Kingston, TN and Karon Willoughby (Jeremy) of Cumming, GA; her grandchildren, Emma Hoard, Ethan Hoard, Austin Patterson (Ana), Blake Patterson (Holly), Savannah Patterson, Lane Willoughby (Delaney), Hunter Willoughby and Makayla Willoughby; her siblings, Theresa Freeman (Rob) and Gary Roberts (Cindy); and her sisters-in-law, Lola Faye Patterson and Linda May Neal (JC). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After attending Frankfort Pilgrim College and Covenant Foundation College for a short time, Linville was ordained as a minister.
