She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Peden Sr. and Annette Riseley Peden; her former husband Alan W. Shubert; her husband Bobby R. Walden; and her brothers, Richard E. Peden, Jr. and Robert J. Peden.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Shubert of Nashville, TN and David Phillips (Serena) of Duluth, GA; her granddaughters, Liana and Kaia Phillips; and her sisters, Barbara Dry (Eddie) of Santa Fe, Caryl Griffin Russell (Rick) of Knoxville and Jeanne Nolan of Kingston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
