He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Surrette and Ruby Surrette; his brothers, Bobby Surrette (Ruth), Ray Surrette (Pat) and Michael Surrette; and his brother-in-law Arthur Beets.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Surrette (Pandy) and Mark Surrette (Shannon); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Autumn Surrette (Jon), Jacob Surrette (Rachel) and Casey Surrette; and his sister Betty Beets. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Mann Heritage Chapel (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kingston Memorial Gardens.
