She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Hayes and Ester Hayes of Birmingham; her husband Wyndle Frederick of Kingston; and her sisters, Carolyn Yearty (Budge) of Pensacola and Margaret Hill (Jim) of Pleasant Grove, Alabama..

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Brooks (Chuck) of Grayson, Georgia, Suzy Badger of Kingston, Teri Frederick of Kingston and Stephen Powers (Sunny) of Sweetwater; her grandchildren, Christopher, Eric (Brittany), Kevin, David Brooks, Robert, Chrissy Badger and Celeste Powers; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Hunter Elsea, Evan Badger, Evelyn, Violet, Henry and Will Brooks. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
