She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Speers and Amanda Speers; her husband Robert Denton; her siblings, Harold Speers, Kenneth Speers, Fred Speers, Barney Speers, Ethel Weatherly, Vada Jenkins and Georgia Speers; and her nephews, Ronald Weatherly and Steve Speers.

She is survived by : her stepson John Denton (Gail) of Hilton Head. She is also survived by her family and friends.
