It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Eugene Shipley in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Elree Shipley Sr. and Ida Virginia Shipley; his wife Shirley Louise Owens Shipley; his daughter Sherry Denise Bright; and his brother Frank Elree Shipley Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Shipley (Diane), Terry Shipley and Gary Shipley; his grandchildren, Cindy Seaver (Ed), Danny Bright (Blair), Randy Bright (Natalie), Benjamin Shipley (Haley), Michael Shipley, Rob McGee (Holly), Seth Shipley and Samuel Shipley; and his great grandchildren, Silas McGee, Ruby McGee, Sutton Shipley, Blake Seaver, Wesley Seaver, Julia Seaver, Rayne Bright, Luke Bright, Josiah and Nathaniel Bright.
An entombment will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home.
