He is survived by: his wife Linda Allen Smith; his son Arnold Neil Smith Jr. (Kim); his grandson Justin (Carley); his brother Don K. Smith; his nieces and nephews, Dewayne Sharp, J. J. Lovegrove Caroline (Kerrie), Hadley, Karen Nelson, Paige Rayfield Will (Gene), Christy Carter Briley (Brian), Maygen Ogle Jaxson (Josh) and Brooklynn; his brothers-in-law, Edward Allen and John Lovegrove; and his cousin Mildred Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church (131 Mt Zion Ln, Jacksboro, TN 37757). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church (P.O. Box 197 Jacksboro, TN 37757) or Second Methodist Church (1524 Western Ave Knoxville, Tennessee 37921) Arrangements made by Cross-Smith Funeral Home.
