We announce the death of Austin Watson (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 87. Austin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Singleton Watson and Willie Mae Watson; and his siblings, Jeanette Blair (Richard Blair), Wayne Watson (Wanda Watson) and Josephine Chambers (Robbie Chambers).

He is survived by: his wife Ramona Wells Watson; his daughter Brooke Rymer (Russell Rymer); his grandchildren, Elise and Tripp Rymer; his sons, Brandon Watson (Kirsten Watson) and Chris Watson; his sister Marlene Watson (Danny Watson); his sister-in-law Yvonne Roberts (Bob Roberts); his nephew John Dalton (Karen Dalton); and his nieces, Susan Bishop, Diana Blair McKinney, Kim Hodge (Ron Hodge) and Nicole Russell (Brian Russell).
