He was predeceased by: his parents, Ravinder K. Sood and Peggy Jane Sood. He is survived by: his son Dustin Kumar Sood; his brother Maharaj Sood (Margaret Sood); his children, Raakhi Sood, Uma Sood and Ravinder S. Sood of Knoxville; his uncle Mohinder Sud of Knoxville; and his aunt Geeta Sud of Florence, S. C..
