She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stanley and Mary Kathryn Stanley of Stanley's Greenhouse; and her siblings-in-law, David Cox and Lisa Stanley. She is survived by: her husband Jim Barton; her children, Lezlie Raney (Rusty) and David Barton (Christy); her grandsons, Nicholas Raney (Erika), John Barton (Whitney), Wesley Raney (Natalie), Jake Barton (Alexandra) and Josh Barton (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Ty, Emma, Charlie Raney, Colton Barton, Emilia Barton, Liam and Lana Barton; her brothers, Monte Stanley (Ann Whitney) and Rocky Stanley; and her sister-in-law Judy Barton Cox. She is also survived by family members and family friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (1620 W Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
