He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Moles; his daughter Donna Moles; his grandson Brandon Moles; and his friend Johnny Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Robbin Simmons, Melissa Summers (Nathanael) and Ben Jr.; and his grandchildren, Dustin Moles (Tasha), Christopher Summers, Aaron Simmons and Lexie Stange (Christian).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Apostolic Church (5020 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN 37912). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bookwalter Cemetery (4300 Central Ave Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912).
