Though Bill may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Margaret; his wife Jeanne Bryan Hendon; and his sister Ann Hendon Drennon (late Gene) of Snellville, GA.. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Hendon Simon (Quincy) of Ringgold, GA and William Thomas Hendon III (Kendra); his grandchildren, Nathan Thomas Hendon of Knoxville and Rachel Elizabeth Hendon of Knoxville; and his sister-in-law Candice Bryan (late Joseph) of Stamford, CT.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Cremations Farragut Chapel (11915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37934). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, The Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
