He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Buchanan (Pat); and his parents, Maude Buchanan and James Buchanan. He is survived by: his sons, David Buchanan and Scott Buchanan (Karen); his grandchildren, Beth Tharpe (Jonathan) and Justin Stooksbury (MeaKayla); his great grandchildren, Abby, Aubree Tharpe and Greyson Stooksbury; and his brother Pete Buchanan (Patsy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
